This course is an introduction to the principles and assumptions of effective Communication and their relationship to culture to help the students develop an integration of culture, communication, the Bible for their interactions.

 

Expected Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course students should be able to:

1. Examine principles of communication from different scenarios and case studies applying relevant cultural theories.

2. Discuss communication on the basis of a broader understanding of culture.

3. Evaluate the impact of communication and cultural patterns on various aspects of personal life: Economic, social, political, educational, psychological, historical and religious.

4. Analyze the bible in cultural communication terms.

5. Demonstrate the integration of culture, communication, and the Bible in one’s life and intercultural interactions.
