This unit provides you with the foundation into the world of advertising. You will learn the skills needed for an advertiser, the formation of an advertising agency and roles where you can fit into, where advertising sits in communication and in other fields, how to structure and execute a successful advertising campaign. This is an introductory course that exposes students to the basics of advertising by focusing on the advertising agency, the media, types of advertising, above and below the line media and the creative side of advertising.

All these will enable the student to understand the art and science of calling attention to a product, service or need persuasively and with an enthusiastic mindset, you will learn a lot more.
