This course looks at the history of psychological disorders; various kinds of psychological disorders including anxiety, mood and personality disorders. It also addresses stress, schizophrenia, substance use and addictions. Special emphasis is laid on identification; symptomatology, etiology, management of abnormal behaviors such as biological, pharmaceutical and psychological approaches. Cultural and spiritual perspectives on interventions are also delved into.
