The course introduces learners
to progressively build knowledge on
all aspects of growth and the different developmental stages an individual
undergoes from conception to death. It is designed to enhance learners’ ability and knowledge to
critically understand human growth, by looking at the biosocial, cognitive and
psychosocial aspects of a human being from birth to old age. It also allows a student to articulate and
understand the different counseling approaches across lifespan.
