An advanced level management course designed for students who have already satisfactorily completed the course public relations (COM 426) and public relations writing (COM 427). This course focuses on sharpening the student’s knowledge and skills in PR management. Topics include management theories and principles, the need for strategic PR management; planning and managing PR campaigns; crisis management; account management; corporate social responsibility management; reputation management, and special event planning and management.
