The course will introduce or reinforce facilitation as an empowering/enabling process for working with partner projects, introduction to facilitation methodologies and techniques consistent with child and adolescent development. It will cover: definition of terms; Techniques/methodologies of facilitation: dialogue, producing new ideas, and new ways of looking at things, new content, evaluation, and reflection. Facilitating adult learning and the Training of Trainers (TOT). This will include various approaches like formal, informal, and non-formal learning. How to facilitate child and adolescent development i.e., concepts, communication, and change; and how participants and partners can be rooted in continuing learning; learning individually and collectively. The course will also delve into child participation approaches and distinctives.
