Congratulations on entering successfully into your second year of your undergraduate studies in Biomedical Science Program!

My name is Dr Monica N. Opiyo. I am delighted and honored to be your instructor you this semester on the study of Human Pathology (BMS 201). I am a holder of a PhD in Biomedical Science, a Master in Biomedical Science and Masters in Public Health. My main areas of interest lie in clinical/ medical research in Bio-medicine and especially its relationship with current technology.

In the coming weeks we will embark on an exhilarating and intriguing journey as we learn more about the mechanisms of cell and tissue injury and how the human body adapts to such stress. I believe it will both be insightful and enjoyable.
