The purpose of the course is to expose the learners to conceptualization of childhood mental disorders and overview of their management.  The course will introduce the learner to physical, cognitive, social, moral and spiritual development of children and factors that contribute towards healthy development in these domains.  The course will also equip students with techniques of assessment and utilization of appropriate theories and techniques used in counselling with children.
