Course Purpose

The purpose of this course is to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and skills in Strategies and Approaches employed in Community Development Programming.

Expected Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, the learner should be able to:

1.      articulate the concepts in community development programming

2.      analyze steps in the planning and designing of community development programs

3.      critique the role of community programs in poverty alleviation

4.      apply knowledge and skills gained in advancing development programs in the community
