Course Purpose

The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with knowledge skills, attitudes and competencies that will be critical on educational theory and practice. The course will lead to the learner’ competency in critical thinking, problem-solving, independent thought, capacity to analyse current educational issues, practice and ideology as well as a develop a philosophical basis for the practice of education in Kenya, Africa and beyond.
