This course is designed to enable students to appreciate the fundamentals of Photography and Photojournalism. Students will be exposed to photography techniques and concepts as well as digital media production methods. Students will learn by working with digital SLR cameras, and editing software. It will also explore the fundamental principles of writing and reporting and captioning in pictures for the mass media, with particular attention given to the practice of journalism in Kenya.
