This course will extend knowledge from ICC 012 content as it points out the relationship between communication and culture and its implications for a Christian’s life as a member of society. It has a heavier emphasize on cultural anthropology and its implications on communication processes

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

1. Articulate and understand cultural concepts of family / kinship, status and roles.  

2. Explain implications of social structure, group membership, communication credibility for communicators and change agents

3. Describe the influence of media, government, technology & economy upon the student and society

4. Explain the way God uses a people’s culture to reveal himself.

5. Integrate culture, communication and biblical views in the everyday life of the student.
