This course is intended to expose the learners to the principles, systems and techniques required to effectively manage supply chain activities in order to achieve its intended objectives to the organizations.

By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

1.       Demonstrate an understanding of the concept of supply chain management, its objectives and structure.

2.       Develop skills necessary in effective procurement of materials and service requirements.

3.       Illustrate the logistics operations.

4.       Demonstrate ability to manage the storage of materials in supply chain.

5.       Apply the correct inventory controls techniques and systems in supply chain.

Illustrate the respective roles of production, Professional ethics and information technology in supply chain management.
