Welcome to our class Abnormal Psychology. I am delighted to have you in this class for this semester.Purpose of the Course
The course will introduce the student to the scientific study of the various classified psychological disorders. The course will expose the learner to recognize and acknowledge abnormal psychological disorders and appreciate the various interventional regimes.
Objectives :
1. Define and explain key concepts in abnormal psychology
2. Identify abnormal behavior in case studies
- Discuss the history and progression of abnormal psychology
4. Classify the symptoms and etiology of the various psychological disorders
5. Evaluate appropriate management regimes of psychopathological disorders.
