1.      Explain the importance of the history of psychology
2.      Critique origins and development of Philosophy, Science and Psychology
3.      Evaluate the importance of Wundt, James and Freud in the development of Psychology 
4.      Synthesize the important role that behaviorism played in psychology’s history
5.      Examine the impact of the cognitive revolution in Contemporary Psychology
6.      Infer future trends in Contemporary Psychology within the African context
